Before Reading – Today you will pay attention to the color and the animals.

During Reading – Read story together

After Reading – Teacher modeling matching the cards.  Teacher names the animals.

Matching colors and animals

Some students have a color. Some students have an animal.  Every student has a turn so it might take 2 or 3 turns.
