My husband works full-time with computers, my son is majoring in computer science. Lots of conversations occur at my house that may or may not occur at others. My son has an interesting perspective on the work place through his father’s eyes. My husband also benefits from remembering the young’s point of view.

I do not like to buy shoes, for me daughter or me or for anyone! I love that Andrew, my son, does not like buying shoes either. As I read this post, I thought, absolutely! I will only be a children’s shoe clerk if my children are starving.

The groups are posted on the board so that students know who to read with. This way the students are not spending time deciding daily how to get organized instead of reading. Every procedure that is well thought out and modeled allows students to spend more time actually reading.

The Vocabulary Book by Michael Grave (pages 103-109). Many teachers keep looking for intervention lessons. This one makes sense for a planned prefix lesson sequence.
